Masih belum keluar??
Mama mia pergi refer dan lapor diri sebagai org yg dah overdue...menyerah jelah apa yg diorang akan lakukan. Anak2 dah siap backpack diorang...manalah tau Mama mia terus kena tahan dlm ward ker...so senang kalau diorang nak ditumpangkan ke mana2 rumah yg sudi menerima. Rumah dikemas rapi...mcm nak gi holiday berminggu2. Semua bag hospital, bag baby, bag makanan dlm ward dimasukkan dlm boot kereta. Tapi...sampai hospital..disuruh balik rumah...tunggu lagi sampai ada "show" atau rasa sakit. Aduh...penatnya dan frust! Ikut hati mcm nak suh jer doktor buatlah something...nak keluarkan cepat baby nie. Bukan sebab tak tahan nak bawak dlm perut...atau membebankan..tapi tak tahan menanti....itulah kelemahan Mama mia. Paling tak suka ternanti2 sesuatu yg tak pasti.
Balik dari hospital...terus gi Alamanda. Mula2 nak gi Putrajaya World Waterski Championship...tapi sebab tak bawak kamera...tak jadilah. Besok pun boleh pergi. Rugi pulak kalau tak der camera....amik gambar. Kat alamanda...saja jer jalan window shopping. Tak beli apa sgt pun..sebenarnya...jalan2 window shopping sebab exercise..dgn harapan akan sakit perut dan bersalin semalam jugak. DIam2 tak diam....hampir 4 jam meronda satu shopping complex tu. Seronok cuci mata....sempatlah survey baby carseat dan baby playpen..mahalnya.....nanti...survey jer....lagipun bukan pakai sekarang. Bayangkan....4 jam tak duduk...asyik berjalan or diri jer....tetiba rasa sakit yg teramat. pinggang mcm nak patah...sampai kol 8 mlm tu, dah mcm tak larat nak jalan ke parking lot nak balik.
Excited nya...seronok bila dah rasa sakit. Wah..terus bila ayamas...sebab takut mlm semalam kena gi hospital semula....tak sempat nak prepare dinner pulak. Tapi...bila sampai rumah jer..tetiba baik..sakit hilang! Ya Allah...frust lagi.....rasa sedihnya. at last....malam semalam habiskan masa tgk Anugerah Skrin jer.......dlm kekecewaan sebab tak sakit2 lagi.
Yg buat Mama mia rasa bertambah sedih...kakak ipar yg due 8 novemberdah bersalin semalam (6 nov). Baby girl..dah balik rumah pun. Sekarang tinggal Mama mia dan ayu jer...biras kat jerman tu...dia takperlah..sebab dia punya EDD mmg lambat lagi.
Ya Allah...apalah nasib badan. Tabah kanlah hati ini Ya Allah! Semua kwn2..jiran2..dan sedara mara jauh dan dekat risau..everyday asyik sms tanya perkembangan. Mak dan Abah kat kampung sampai buat solat hajat. Kesian...kasih sayang ibu bapa... mmg tak dapat digantikan dgn kasih sayang org lain...even suami!
p/s: oh yer..terjumpa Mamafiza kat toilet kat Alamanda...ngan her oldest son. Tak sangka!
To ponder..

Pencarian Gadis Melayu...
Frankly speaking..Mama mia malas nak tengok rancangan nie, bukan kerana ia sebuah rancangan yg membosankan or whatever, tapi sebab tiap kali tgk rancangan tu...terasa sgt betapalah Mama mia bukanlah gadis (still gadis ker??) Melayu yg sejati. heheh. Lagipun terasalah diri nie tak secantik mana....heheh.
So....teringat gambar Afafita yg diambil time nak pergi marhaban beberapa minggu lepas. Ada potensi tak nak masuk pencarian gadis Melayu? Nampak mcm santun jer kan...heheh. Tapi kalu dgr dia menjerit dan gelak..mesti para juri bagi kad merah yg paling besar punya.
What I wish I'd known about preparing for life with a newborn
"I wish I'd bought at least four nursing bras. I only got a few, and ended up hand-washing them all the time."
"I wish I had cleaned and organized my house before the baby was born. That way, when I came home I wouldn't have been stressed about cleaning and I would have known where all the important things were."
"I wish I'd given my husband a list of all the things I do in an average day and asked him to pick at least three chores he could take over. That way he would have been on track once the baby arrived, and I wouldn't have gotten so angry because he wasn't pitching in."
"I wish my husband had played more of a role in selecting things for the registry. He wasn't interested in gear during my pregnancy, but now he doesn't like the stroller I picked."
"I wish I hadn't bought so much newborn-size clothing. My son was almost too big for it when he was born!"
"A friend highly recommended having the changing table ready and stocked. I listened, and I can't imagine what life would have been like in the first weeks without it!""It would have been a big help to have all my older daughter's clothes organized according to season and size, so they'd be easy to find when our new daughter grows into them."
"I wish I'd set up some playdates for our 4-year-old daughter for the days following the birth of our new baby."
"I wish I'd investigated groups and activities that my baby and I could have participated in during my maternity leave."
"I wish I'd completed more things on my to-do list, like getting an eye exam or taking the car into the shop to be fixed, that are really difficult to do with a baby in tow."
"I should have learned to use the breast pump before the baby was born."
"I recommend reading more books on the baby's first year, especially the parts on sleeping and nursing."
"I wish I'd thought more about how I was going to mother my new son. I was so busy buying baby clothes and decorating the nursery that I never thought about how I was going to raise him."
Ten Ways to Start Living a Frugal Life
Buying books and movies gets expensive, and even renting can add up. Take a trip to your local library; and you'll find all of the latest books and movies available free of charge. Still like the idea of renting? Then, sign up for Netflix or Blockbuster. With plans starting at $5, the damage to your budget will be mimimal.
2. Clip Coupons
Take the time to clip coupons for the grocery items that you buy regularly, and shave an easy 25 percent off of your weekly grocery bill. Want to save even more? Find a grocery store in your area that doubles coupons, and make that your store of choice.
3. Eat Out Less Often
Eating out is fun, but far more expensive than eating at home. Challenge yourself to eat at home more often – even if it's just once more a month, and watch your bank account grow. Then, find ways to minimize the cost of eating out when you do decide to treat yourself.
4. Switch to Online Bill Pay
Save yourself a stamp, and avoid late fees by paying your bills online. You can pay direct to your creditors, or set up automatic bill pay with your bank; and take yourself out of the equation entirely.
5. Group Errands
Reduce your gas bill by grouping your errands and only driving when you need to. For even more savings, consider biking or walking when you don't have far to go.
6. Make Your Own Cleaners
Homemade cleaners work just as well as store-bought cleaners and at a fraction of the price. Stock up on basic cleaning agents like vinegar and baking soda; and you'll be ready for any cleaning task that comes your way.
7. Seek Freebies
Freebies are fun and budget-friendly. Look online for a wide-array of free offers, and enjoy a mailbox bursting with goodies. Like to try new products? Then, this is a particularly good savings strategy for you.
8. Wash in Cold
Cut your electric bill substantially by washing your laundry in cold water. Your clothes will still come out clean, and your hot water heater won't have to work nearly as hard.
9. Flip a Switch
Reduce your electric bill even further by turning off lights and other electronics when they aren't in use. It may seem like a small thing, but you're sure to see the difference on your next electric bill.
10. Change Your Own Oil
Skip the quick lube, and change your own oil. You'll reduce your tab to the price of oil and a filter, and maybe even save time too – quick lubes aren't always as quick as the name suggests.
What is frugal living...
Frugal living means smarter money management.
When you know how much money you have in the bank and how much money you need to cover your monthly bills, you can begin to make better decisions about how your money is spent. Can you afford to splurge on a new pair of shoes? Is this the right time to buy a new car? Put a frugal budget in place, and you’ll know just what you can afford, and more importantly, what you can’t afford.
You’ll also know where you stand with your debt repayment, savings goals, and investments—a key step to taking charge of your money and making it work for you.
Frugal living means smarter spending.
It's taking the money that you have and s-t-r-e-t-c-h-i-n-g it as far as it will go.
It's learning how to get the best deal on everything that you buy—shopping thrift stores, yard sales, clearance racks and barter boards until you find what you want at a price that you can afford; using coupons and rebates in combination with sales to get the very best price on your groceries; and perhaps even stockpiling items when you find them at an unbeatable price.
It's also knowing when not to shop – holding off on a purchase that doesn’t fit into your budget, and patiently waiting for a sale to bring an item down to your price. When you adopt the habits of a frugal shopper, you are in full control of your spending.
Frugal living means harnessing your creativity.
It’s about finding ways to make due with what you have, and learning how to do more for yourself. Do you pay someone to change your oil, or do it yourself? Sew a patch on a pair of holey jeans, or buy a new pair? Purchase trash bags, or reuse your plastic grocery bags?
Every day presents new opportunities to reuse, repurpose and create, and it’s the frugal person who recognizes those opportunities, seizes them and turns them into savings.
Why Live Frugally?
Okay, so frugal living is about better money management, bargain shopping and creativity, but what does all of that add up to? Can these three things really result in a better life?
Absolutely.
Frugal living unlocks a world of possibilities. Want to pay off all of your debts? Fund your child’s education? Enjoy the security of a fat bank account? Travel the world?
You can make it happen.
Frugal living is about determining what you want out of your life, and finding a way to make it happen. A couple dollars saved here, and a few dollars invested there doesn’t translate into a life of deprivation; it translates into possibilities.
Decide what you want to get out of life, and then use frugality to make it happen. The Science Center Trip
Last weekend...papa surprisingly bawa kami sekeluarga ke Science Center at Bukit Kiara. Sebenarnya dah lama teringin nak bawa the kids there, tapi mcm tak sempat dan selalu terlupa. Sebenarnya, Papa nak suh Mama mia berjalan2..exercise...di samping tu kira mcm a retreat for the kids selepas "penat" study for two weeks..with no TV, no outings, for their final year exam.
Science center ni mmglah best...though almost half of the exhibitions are far beyond the kids knowledge level. Tapi yg penting it's a good exposure for them. They had a lot a fun there..and Mama mia pun seronok..sebab dpt recall pelajaran2 sains tulen yg dipelajari zaman sekolah menengah dulu.
